Truthfully, you can increase your RSS reader count in the length of time that it takes you to upload your new code for the Feedburner widget. It may be true, but it’s not that honest. Matt has explained in great detail the methods that a not so honest blogger can use to mask his RSS subscribers. I just wanted to point out that article. I found it an interesting read. This could be an interesting experiment, but I’ll pass for now.

      I’ll have to agree with you on this one. I want to get more traffic to my site but this sounds a little too good to be true in my opinion.

      Oh no, it’s true! :) It’s just dishonest. Certainly feedburner will figure out a solution to prevent this in the near future.
