Wow! I recently stopped by my YouTube profile to be reminded of what videos I had posted and I couldn’t believe that the Peanuts Office Prank video had over 23,000 views on youtube alone! There must be a lot of people in offices laughing at pranks. Perhaps they are researching for ideas of their own. Either way - if you haven’t seen the styrofoam peanut prank, or are just in need of a good laugh - you should check out the video below!

A little behind the scenes information for you: This rig took about two hours of personal after work time with the help of a few others to pull off. The total expense for rigging material and peanuts was under $20, the time was near to two hours of planning, constructing and rigging - but the end payoff was well worth it all! Though the video does not show, nor does the audio depict - there are ten to fifteen people standing around outside of the camera view trying to act as if they are carrying on with normal daily activities. They are all waiting for the moment that the peanuts fly! The voice you hear shortly after the peanuts fall is the division manager who thought the entire thing was quite crafty.

She just couldn’t believe the end result - you’ll hear her. Nancy (the subject of the styrofoam fall) was in great spirits about the whole thing, though in the video you simple see a stunned woman trying to figure out what happened, who done it, and how they are gonna repay. She did get me back! Lastly, the bag handed to her after the drop is some of her favorite alcohol which she gladly received! In the end those who setup the prank cleaned it up as well. We felt it was just too cruel to make her do all that work. Thankfully we had a shop vac not too far away. Well, I hope you enjoyed the laughs - come back for more good times!

If you are in need of detailed information on how to pull this off or have any questions, I’d be glad to share with you the method, so long as you capture the moment on video and share it with me!
