Hi all,
First of all I would like you mention that if you feel uncomfortable opening up a laptop, do not do that. You can break it. Never open your laptop if it's still under warranty or you loose it.
BUT if you have some experience fixing computers, you can do that yourself. With a good disassembly guide it's pretty easy.
I work mostly with Toshiba laptops and have created over 50 disassembly guides similar to iFixit guides. If you have to take apart a Toshiba laptop in the future, here's some help:
<a href="http://www.irisvista.com/tech/" rel="nofollow">Toshiba laptop disassembly guides</a>
All my guides are free and you can use them any time. Good luck!

Thanks for the advice on Toshiba laptops! I'm sure readers will find this bit of information helpful - well, at least those with Toshibas.

I've seen so many people try and open laptops and have ended up breaking it. Laptops are delicate and should be approached with care and the right tools.
