Let’s see, first of all: Welcome to the new look, fresh feel, and original location of my place for randomness.

It is evident that you have made the switch successfully if you are viewing this sentence at this time. If you are not viewing this sentence, then you have some troubles still, and I hope that you get them worked out. I also know that some of you don’t know where you are switching from since you have just recently run across this site. I suspect that with minimal amounts of investigation you could trace and locate this trite location of which I do not speak. Apart from all this, welcome!

SicklesInsight was born out of the desire to shift into my own territory where I could actually control all aspects of my ‘blog’. I put ‘blog’ in quotes because various individuals tell me that I can not label what you are currently reading as a ‘blog’. These unnamed people tell me a blog is only a blog when personal in nature. If you know me at all or have read any number of my posts you too have probably come to the realization that my ‘blog’ is not personal in nature. Speaking of personal in nature, you might refer to my previous post, Catching Up : Falling Behind, concerning personal blogs.

I am enjoying the process of bringing the site completely online, though it has not come without its headaches! From the very beginning, much thought was put into naming this world-wide-location, but every good name that came to mind was already dominated by somebody else. To make a tedious story brief, I finally settled on SicklesInsight. Much time has been spent in making everything work just perfectly, but there are still little “oops” here and there. If you notice a glaring oops or one that doesn’t seem to go away, do let me know – I’ll work on it!

Perhaps it is premature to launch this site to the world, but already persons unfamiliar to me have stumbled across and begun to read portions of this site. I don’t think I am being too hasty in this process, just as long as you will all bear with me and the changes necessary to bring this site to completion.
